GOTHENBURG, NE—Gothenburg Health in conjunction with local EMS, Gothenburg school systems, Hill Top Estates, and local law enforcement will be conducting an Active Shooter Drill on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Gothenburg Health’s campus beginning at 9 am. To simulate an active shooter in the hospital, the active shooter will be wearing a yellow vest, and will be accompanied by Wanda Cooper, Gothenburg Health’s Director of Nursing, during the entire drill to ensure safety for all involved. Marty is pictured with her husband, Dan. “You need to come and visit Gothenburg Health. The newly constructed facility is awesome,” said Marty Wright, a patient at Gothenburg Health. Marty recently had a total knee replacement completed in-house with orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Scott Lukens.
