2nd Annual Evening of Blooms Highlights Women’s Health on May Day
Gothenburg Health is welcoming Women’s Health Month with an evening rooted in growth, connection, and self-care at its 2nd Annual Evening of Blooms: Empowering Women’s Health event.
The event will take place Friday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Garden Blessings in Gothenburg, offering a relaxed, spring-filled atmosphere where local women can learn more about their health while enjoying an evening out.
Designed to raise awareness of the many dimensions of women’s health, the Evening of Blooms brings together education, conversation, and community. Attendees are invited to stroll through the greenhouse, enjoy light refreshments, and take time to focus on their well-being.
Guests can sip drinks provided by the Farrski’s Fizzies, enjoy charcuterie cups by Fresh Seasons Market, or have a sweet treat from Theresa’s Cakes & More. Plus, women can shop Garden Blessings’ spring selection with a 10% discount during the event. All attendees will be entered into drawings for giveaways, which will be announced at 6:00 p.m.
Dr. Anna Dalrymple will be on-site throughout the evening, along with other members of the Gothenburg Health team, to visit with attendees and answer questions. Information will be available on a wide range of women’s health topics, including nutrition, mammograms, heart health, reproductive care, and overall wellness. In addition to physical health, the event will also highlight mental and emotional well-being, with resources focused on stress management, healthy lifestyle choices, and supporting women at every stage of life.
“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to women’s health,” Dalrymple said. “Whether you’re thinking about prevention, mental well-being, or learning what screenings are right for you, we want women to feel informed and supported.”
The Evening of Blooms is free to attend, and no purchase is required. Women are encouraged to bring a friend and enjoy an evening dedicated to learning, relaxation, and connection as Gothenburg Health helps kick off Women’s Health Month.
