Emergency & Trauma Services

Emergency services are provided 24/7/365 by an on-call Provider along with diagnostic and treatment teams. Gothenburg Health is a Certified Basic Level Trauma Center. Patients are treated and either dismissed, admitted or transferred for a higher level of care based on their injuries or illnesses.

Gothenburg Health Providers are certified in BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) as a minimum! Registered Nurses working in the Emergency Department are certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC).

Gothenburg Health has a designated landing area on site for easy access for emergency transfer via helicopter.
