Booster Shots available at GH starting on 9/29

Gothenburg Health is excited to announce that the recently approved Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 booster vaccine is available for the GH patient population beginning this Wednesday, September 29.


Who is eligible to get a booster shot?

According to the CDC, COVID-19 Vaccine booster shots are available for the following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago. The following bullets summarize these specifics:

As noted above, the booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 Vaccine should be administered at least 6 months after completing the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 primary series (note that this booster is not currently recommended for those that received other COVID-19 vaccines such as Moderna or J&J). Other groups may receive a booster shot based on their individual risk and benefit. Learn more.


I'm eligible, how can I get my shot?

Beginning Wednesday, September 29, GH will have appointment openings available to schedule your shot any day during the regular work week (note that we currently do not offer Saturday appointments).

Please call the Gothenburg Health Clinic at 308-537-4066 to schedule your booster shot.
