Natalie Waskowiak, PA-C, practicing at Gothenburg Health

Gothenburg Health is excited to welcome Natalie Waskowiak, PA-C, to our Family Practice providers.

Natalie grew up in Merna, Nebraska and has lived in Gothenburg for the past 18 years. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Hastings College and went on to receive her Master’s degree in the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Natalie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

When asked why she chose Gothenburg Health, Natalie explained that the progressiveness of the hospital and ability to practice in the community where she lives were the two major drivers. “I’m excited to work with the providers, nurses and clinical staff at Gothenburg Health,” explained Natalie. She went on to say, “I’ve been practicing in internal medicine for the past 15 years so I’m looking forward to broadening my clinical skillset by returning to family practice again.”

Practicing in Gothenburg is not new for Natalie. “Initially I practiced here with Dr. Bartruff, for several years after I graduated from PA school,” said Natalie.  “I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to serve and help others in our community through the practice of medicine.” As Natalie joins our team of family practice providers, she still has a special interest in Internal/Adult Medicine as well as Geriatric Medicine.

Personal

Natalie’s husband, Randy Waskowiak, works at 1st State Bank in Gothenburg and serves on the Gothenburg City Council. They have two children, Lauren and Kara. When she’s not working, Natalie enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with family and watching her children at all their events.
