“You need to come and visit Gothenburg Health. The newly constructed facility is awesome,” said Marty Wright, a patient at Gothenburg Health. Marty recently had a total knee replacement completed in-house with orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Scott Lukens.

The ability to stay so close to home for a significant outpatient procedure was the primary reason Marty chose Gothenburg Health. Marty feels very strongly that she did not compromise her outcome in the slightest by staying local for the procedure.

Working as a nurse for many years, Marty has a special appreciation for quality patient care. She was very impressed with the care she received from the teams at Gothenburg Health, including nursing, pharmacy, environmental services, and anesthesia. Marty also commented that the convenient setup with parking right outside the hospital wing was ideal for her family and helped make the whole experience go very smoothly. Additionally, Marty appreciated the thoroughness displayed through the orientation process done before the procedure. Knowing exactly where to check-in the morning of her surgery, where to go, and what to expect was very valuable for Marty and her husband, Dan.

Quickly on the mend, Marty is looking forward to getting back into the Cozad Thrift Shop where she regularly volunteers her time. She knows there have been several new donations received since she was last in and she’s excited to get back to the store and start organizing!
