Position Summary
Gothenburg Health is seeking a full-time Echo Tech which is responsible for performing echocardiographic studies as ordered by the physicians.
Key Accountabilities
- Performs clinical assessment and Echocardiogram examinations to aid in patient diagnosis.
- Obtains patient history, explains procedure to patient, addresses any concerns of the patient.
- Prepares patient for echocardiogram procedure, positions patient as necessary, and assists patient at end of procedure.
- Uses good judgement when determining if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnosis, or if additional imaging is necessary.
- Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARDMS registered in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or CCI echocardiography (RCS).
- Knowledge with a solid foundation in Echocardiography.
