Experienced Cook (Full-Time)

Position Summary

Gothenburg Health is seeking a Cook.  This role provides high quality meals to patients and customers of the café. Gothenburg Health is proud of the delicious creations served from the kitchen.  The ideal candidate has previous experience preparing food in a hospital setting. This job requires excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort with the public.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of previous experience in quantity cooking and working with modified diets.

  • Knowledge in using basic equipment (slicer, mixer, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc.).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff members.

  • Ability to interact with employees with a variety of developmental and socio-cultural backgrounds.

  • A basic knowledge of reading, writing, and normally acquired through the completion of a High School education or equivalent.
